As his weight for the Paul Smith fight. Just face it,he's outgrown 168,should be fighting at 175,yet you want him to fight the 160 lb golovkin.
He didn't know if he would have trouble making weight. The catch-weight was to see how he felt after the lay off.

He just shut down a guy with an 88% KO rating and pretty much beat him to a pulp.

      • Lemieux went down on knee, but he delayed it and it didnt change the fight

Any making hay over it is just looking for excuses. It was literally not a shot that even hurt him. He obviously did not see him go down.

Every time Lemieux landed the noted it, every dang time.

He had literally just went down.

And let us take a look at that Roy jones one, it came much later, and after he clearly went down.

He didn't accidental hit him. And it hurt him, Lemieux wasnt hurt by it.

However, I'm disappointed in the punch while Lemeiux was down on the knee and the early stoppage.

Lemeiux was still throwing back and defending himself. And had a puncher's chance still.

Stoppage is necessary when the fighter can't defend himself any longer. This wasn't the case here.

He just took a hard shot and bam, the ref calls it.
        What bullshyt.
Lemieux was bleeding and clearly looked at the ref like help me. He will see it after he watched the tape. He was done, it was clear for awhile.

Because KO% is how to judge a boxers overall quality.

He could have easily pulled an Andre Dirrell and milked it until the ref stopped the fight but, unlike Dirrell, he actually showed heart and didn't ***** out. Dirrell's career hasn't been the same since that Oscar winning performance, both inside the ring, and the way he's perceived by the fans outside.
Yea, Lemieuex just touched gloves and moved on. Incredible he wasn't' hurt even more from that. The punches you don't see or expect hurt even more.

Anybody who watched the fight know who dished out the most punishment and it wasn't Lemieux. Heck, he took an even worse beating than the one Angulo took from Canelo. David was dropped, eating hard jabs and hooks, had a bloody nose, and was about to get cornered in the 8th round and some people are fussing over the stoppage? Ridiculous!

You can't just fight back and expect to keep on going. It has to make a difference and seeing how Lemieux was still eating hard shots while hardly doing anything with his own, he clearly wasn't. The stoppage is understandable to me. It'd be different if he still had a chance but he obviously didn't.

Great performance by Golovkin. I don't regret buying it. It was far from a boring fight. Hope that the winner of the Cotto-Canelo match with fight him next.
Roy got disqualified for.doing something like.that.

Pathetic. A P4P fighter would be able to pick a division and make the weight. A bully is what a bully does.
