Highest paid boxer is American, sure, but it's anomaly, as the next highest earning American boxer isn't in the top 250. PPV records, sure, once again another anomaly, who is the last American boxer outside of Mayweather to draw even 300K PPV buys as the A-side?

The only reason boxing still has a pulse in my country is because of our diversity (Mexican-American populations supports boxing) and just due to our overall strong sports culture.

No. Khan-Algieri and Thurman-Collazo didn't do 1M. Maybe they peaked at that number, but they didn't average that number. Also, your population quip works against you in this argument. Isn't 1M viewers in a sports hungry country of 300M really pathetic?
