That's lots of champions for a relatively small population.
Great Britain has nine world champions

Being serious, it is pretty impressive.
Carl Froch just retired which took one away, Joshua is still building towards a world title, Groves will get another shot, Mitchell could get another shot, Khan could get a shot (if he stops dodging vlike a b!tch)...
For a small nation, it's good going.Comment

You get out of boxing what you put into it.
As a nation we believe in and stand by our representative athletes, by way of appropriate funding, incredible fans and fantastic exposure.
Other countries should see the example we set and follow it. America especially.
I'm incredibly proud of what we've achieved, and i fully expect us to be hitting 12-15 world champions in 12 months time.Comment

Boxing in Great Britain is doing well but before you break your arm patting yourself on the back, let's take a closer look at some facts. 9 world champions? Name them, I could only come up with 6. None of those six are on anyones P4P list. You seem to want to turn this into a US/England debate. Don't go there, the US has more than double the amount of champions with several on various P4P lists. Remember, when every boxer in the world wants to make the big time, he goes to the US. 1776 was a long time ago, get the fakc over it alreadyYou get out of boxing what you put into it.
