I wonder if Team GGG are working on relieving mental pressure. Win this and the hype machine will go from overdrive into warp. Golovkin will become honorary President of Apple and United Nations Ambassador for War.

Lose and his career will be just a fraction of what it could have been. It's a lot of pressure and I wonder how he is handling it. I wonder if something similar was happening when he fought for gold?

Many are capable of greatness but few realize it.
I'll tell you how GGG handles pressure: A trip back home to Kazakhstan. Nothing in the world of boxing or sports entertainment even registers when GGG puts it in perspective to his life experiences. Nothing.

If he looses he will be fine. I think PPV is a little too early but I don't know ****.

The hype is a little too crazy though.

I was only 2, I started watching boxing at 5 and the first big fight I remember watching and being peterfied of was DLH-Chavez when I was 7. I still have images of a bloodied Chavez getting beaten up to a pulp, and I haven't watched that fight since watching it live. Funnily enough, me being scared did not stop me from watching more boxing, it made more interested lol.

I don't know what was Tyson hype like after he lost to Douglas, but I know he already had a huge successful PPV of 700k against Spinks.

An understatement. Tyson was a household name all over the world. Even non boxing fans knew who he was. Bumlovkin would be lucky to ever have 1/10th the popularity of a 1990 Mike Tyson...

Ya he is no Mike Tyson. That's a stretch. Mike was and still is a big celebrity almost 30 years later.

Nah, just kidding. Ward isn't smart enough to use computers.

those were both jokes in case you're too dense to realize it
LOL. all jokes aside though, I'm a big fan of Andre Ward and he gets no hate from me. I do think he's turned into a bit of a diva with letting success go to his head. Maybe he could have taken "short money" to fight during his promotional tussle w/ Goosen, but decided to stay on the shelf. Look how that's working out for him now.

So who is putting their points where their mouths are? Anyone?

Why don't you offer me 5 to 1 if you're so sure this is a 20 to 1 mismatch?

My one trillion points to your useless, worthless 5 trillion. Lemieux wins.

Anyone, anyone? Come on haterz... ;-)

                    Obviously, I'm for Lemieux.

He won't, but if he do, there will be a lot of "I told you so" coming out the wood work.

I just don't see him losing in that division.
