Well if he loses I imagine something like the 72 dolphins team raising their glasses up in celebration when the last undefeated team in the NFL loses......except replace them with the black panthers on this site lol....

Yeah it's nice to go undefeated and all that but that means you missed out on another narrative one people can relate to and that's being down and bouncing back from it.
And that is more relevant toward the end of their careers, with hindsight.
A common perception among insiders is that Lemieux has not evolved that much since losing to Rubio and Alcine...... another common perception among insiders is that Golovkin is largely untested against top competition.
So if Golovkin loses to Lemieux, he will likely be called a hypejob.
He will then have the rest of his career to turn that perception around.
If GGG had already beaten top opponents we could call it an anomaly.
Chill, he won't lose to Lemieux.

Regardless, it wouldn't change my opinion on GGG. He is an entertaining fighter, and I think Lemieux is a good fighter as well who gets no credit. This generation is a joke, they've come to idolize that "0" that Mayweather has so much that they think a loss instantly tarnishes a fighters legacy.

Obviously, I'm for Lemieux.
Is it 20:1? If Lemieux wins, I'll send you 20 trillion...No shit!

How does Golovkin come into it?
You were talking about Cotto fighting Ward, Lee and Lemieux at catchweights, not Golovkin, goldfish brain.

IF Golovkin loses to Lemieux, he will abso-fkn-lutely be called a hypejob.
Being GGG, and losing to Lemieux, is absolutely failing to live up to your hype.
Luckily I have more faith in him than most of you lot.
What I see in this thread......
..... are a lot of people who have said one thing, but are now a little worried.
Chill, Golovkin got this ^^
