  • What I see in this thread......
..... are a few people who have said one thing, but are now a little worried

You guys who are worried about Lemieux landing betsy..... you are definitely not the same guys who said that Golovkin could beat Ward, right?

Where is Lemieux ranked at SMW, or P4P, or on a list of proven elites?

      • Won't be a surprise especially when you've been a clown singing the same tune over and over again that he's just a hype job who hasn't faced any serious opposition. Otherwise, you're just fooling yourself.

Ward doesn't have half the power Lemieux has. I'd actually be more concerned about David KO GGG than Ward KO GGG.

Only way Ward wins if he is allowed to hold GGG 3/4 of the fight, literally making it impossible to land a shot.

And I don't think that happens.

I'm no more worried about Lemieux than anyone else. Everyone has a chance to land a lucky shot.

          But it's not gonna happens.

          • Dumbass "what if threads" are a waste of time.

I have no worries about Lemieux KO'ing, much less winning this fight against GGG. It ain't gonna happen. Lemieux will just be another stepping stone in GGG's quest to unify the middle weight division. Once he accomplishes this task, I have no doubt he will move up and take care of Ward with a victorious KO. Which I have no worries about either. Do the math. It's all in the numbers and stats, and GGG has Wards number. Just for fun, here's a what if for the Ward fans. What if he actually fights a warm up bout with a ranked MW/SMW fighter who is actually worth a ****,...and loses?!?! How will that effect his career???? Even worse, what if he loses to a so called bum?????

The guy in my signature promised the same thing. He disappeared after the fight. Then one poster (I'l check his name later) took note of my sig and send me the points that is now appearing on my name.

Not that I care about worthless points. Real point is stand by your predictions and back them up by, at the very least, putting some points on the line. That's what points are there for. If you can't even bet epoints, I doubt you can put real money on your convictions.

                • In boxing anything can happen. Lemieux has definetly enough power to knock out anybody. Golovkin is not invulnerable so I wouldn't be surprise, however I expect GGG to win.

I said I'll send you those points in case Lemieux wins... I don't disappear...

As about money... I prefer betting houses -- but is this case I would have to put a lot of money in order to gain something of notice... My advice for you: try to put some $50 where your mouth is... at a betting house, I mean...

                    • If GGG loses I suspect Cotto or Canelo would both become more emboldened to move towards full unification of the middleweight division by facing Lemieux.

Also if he loses then we have a really interesting and wide open middleweight division in general. I don't think he'll lose, but if he does it will probably mean a rematch and also multiple other great fights to come.

TL;DR - If GGG loses, he loses boogeyman status but more great fights will follow and (probably) come together faster.
