GGG might do more buys on Saturday than Ward done for total viewers on BET while selling out MSG in the process.

Ward is a great fighter. He is also a terrible draw.

You can move the goalpost, but you gotta' stay within the stadium! Anything less than 500K is a failure for the PPV format. Haymon is way ahead of the new boxing "scene," you have to produce quality fights "for free." You don't punish the fighter, you let the middle guys pay for a service: tickets, ads, subscriptions, etc., put their skin in the game! This will be the end of the low quality PPV. GGG must show he can claim the "A-Side." GGG must "shine" under the bright lights! If GGG wants to "be the man," he has to show that "he is the man!"

            Not even worthy of TV.

200k PPV buys is low and because of that GGG does not deserve 50/50 with Ward.

But how many PPV's would Ward sell? He just fought for free on BET.

Let that sink in for a second and reread the first part of your post.

Unbelievably clueless. Sub 500k is a massive failure when you're guaranteeing 36m in purses. 200k is a success for 5m in guarantee.

Do you even watch boxing? You know Cotto, Canelo most recent ppvs did 325k? You know Floyd never did 400k before Oscar, including 340k vs Gatti. Get a clue

Cable companies take half, HBO takes a share and there's the undercard fighters to pay. If they are guaranteed 5 mil someone is losing money if it does 200k.

Im watching baseball this day and depending on who moves on to that game will determine a huge chunk of buys.

If Chicago Cubs v LA Dodgers goes on Sat night with their aces for game one, in LA, then that'll hurt it big.

The whole undercard is probably under 1m. They're also doing great gate, Canadian PPV, and international rights. I dunno it's 5m, just an example, but I bet they come out way ahead at 200k.
