I just don't see what everybody else sees in Canelo. He gets tired, he's flat footed, he punches wide, and has questionable defense yet he's somehow going to beat a veteran like Cotto?

Cotto has all the tools to beat Canelo except for youth. As long as Cotto doesn't get into too many exchanges with Canelo I think he's going to school the kid.

Canelo will Vacate the lineal MW belt next year.

That can't but hurt his standing with American fans, who already question him after the Lara fight.

Cotto is gonna lose to Canelo. But then Canelo is gonna vacate that help, showing his ass to everyone.

That bit, and Gokdenboy are scared. They already laying that groundwork for the duck.

Canelo will be MW champ for a few months before he vacates the belt to keep from getting KO'd,
So exactly true. To the letter.

Surprises can happen, but this is the basic situation.

Does Ward hold a MW belt? No!

Will Canelo if he beats Cotto. yes!

Will Canelo be mandated to fight GGG. Yes!

Will Ward be fighting two divisions above MW. Yes.

Doesn't Ward hold a mandate for GGG to fight him? No.

Has Ward turned down GGG in the past? Yes!

There isn't much more to say!

I do love Canelo threads, the man rehydrates to 175, but says he is a Jr.MW.

GGG rehydrates to 171, and is a MW.

              Enough said!

I agree with him here. Hell, I agree with him on most things. Opinions are only opinions, but I think he is right about Canelo as well as Mayweather.

If Mayweather ain't **** and Canelo is the man, why did Mayweather school Canelo when they fought? Canelo had like 14 years advantage and 15+ lbs advantage on fight night.

And no u can't be that positive that anyone will win this fight, this is as 50-50 of a fight as it can be.

Cotto may win, but he'll never get P4P

Especially after vacating that belt to not face that mandatory.

                      Seriously, Cotto isn't getting p4p.

                      I assume you are joking?
