Then why didn't the WBO produce a new mandatory since last September? They've had 13 months and still no one.

I support Rigo, but its not about " fair ".

If you want to wear the belt, you must fight your mandatory.

The only valid issue is that ABC sanctioning bodies only enforce mandatories when it suits them.

Meanwhile I never noticed when Andrade got his "show cause" letter when his last defense was over a year before being stripped.

And the sanction body in which he fights for has yet to produce a mandatory in 13 months. Meanwhile Andrade sat on his belt for that amount of time before being stripped. So this whole 9-month defense thing is inconsistent.

Yea true. I hate it when fighters have managerial difficulties, but thats not the WBO's problem.

Who is the WBO mandatory, Quigg is it ?

Someone remind me why he stays with Caribe, or is it one of boxing's great unknowns?

Why the f#ck hasn't the alphabet group thrown him a mandatory in 30 months? Hell with barely no one wanting to fight Rigo he'd probably be better off & more active if the alphabet group just became his defacto promoter by enforcing mandatory fights every 6 mos or so. Isn't there a regular or interim champ? Why haven't the alphabet group pushed for that fight?

Regardless if Rigo gots this trinket or not he's The Champion at his weight.

What are you trying to say here?

WBO not giving him a mandatory challenger is stopping him from fighting a top 15 opponent?

How.... how is that a problem? He has more than 10 other opponents to select, I'm not saying 15 because I didn't look at the rankings and don't know if there are vacant spots.

Are you telling me that since they don't have a mandatory challenger, Rigodneaux is unable to try and make a fight with any of the other top 15 opponents?

And who cares about Andrade... he should've been stripped long ago.

If Rigo is fighting in November, then fight against a top 15 opponent and announce it before the deadline

My assumption is he has a virtual slave contract with Caribe that he signed when he was desperate or thought it sounded good as is usually the case for boxers who get screwed over in the business of boxing. You rarely see a fighter able to break free from those types of deals.
