Michael Yormark, president and chief of branding and strategy for parent company Roc Nation:
"Triple G has fought journeymen for his entire career. It's obvious. We all know that. Andre Ward has fought the best of the best. Triple was at the top of his list. He was denied the opportunity to fight him in 36 minutes, so we've moved on. We'll be announcing our plans in the very near future, as to what Andre will be doing for the remainder of 2015 and in 2016. But we are moving on because we want to move forward and fight the best".

HBO: "How about Yunieski Gonzalez? He just gave Jean Pascal all he could handle".

Ward: "How about Azea Augustama? He just got schooled by the guy I easily beat".

Not confirmed but even considering this Azea guy is pathetic. Ward and his whole team is a joke.

Great fight. This will definitely get him ready for Kovalev.

I think it's Yunieski Gonzalez. He pulled out of an eliminator for a bigger opportunity.

I hope so. I understand why Beterbiev/Gonzalez wouldn't be made anyway, but Gonzalez fighting Ward would be a great reason to back away.
