Again, moral lesson of the story for fighters and members of his entrourage here is, don't answer any questions about other fighters except the one you've signed to fight. One mention of other fighter's name will land you a huge headline that says, "GGG is calling out Ward." It happens all the time.

Look what happened. One idiotic reporter acting as Ward's representative, who took it upon himself that Ward would take the fight, asked GGG team about making the fight. How do you supposed to answer such question? Any other way it will be interpreted as ducking or you want the fight right away. It'a lose lose situation.

From there it spiraled out of control and they're even talking about a lawsuit.

This is what I don't get. Pac fans have always wanted Mayweather. You must be mistaking one over the other. Are you sure Ward wants the fight? That's the biggest question I have here.

Stop this so and so fans don't want this fight nonsense. Who tf cares about these fighters? They're not anyone's brothers or relatives. Why would any fan not want the fight to happen? Question is do Ward want it?

Show me concrete proof where he made a huge effort to make the fight happen. I don't want to see quotes how he wanted it and all that crap. Show me proof where he talked to his manager and start the negotiating ball rolling.

They wanted the fight because they deluded themselves into believing Mayweather would get his ass whooped by Pacquiao. With Ward, there is no delusion so they (you) attempt to cast him to the side.

I wish they would fight also. EASY $$$$$$ on Ward. It would be Maywetaher/Pac 2.0/ Postol/ Matty all over. I have to go back to before he turned pro to see him fight real boxers instead of cans... 5' 2" Stevens was hitting him cleanly. Ward would have no problem beating him.

There's no doubt the media people have power to make fights happen. Unfortunately, they're more into gossip and writing back and forth rebuttals without asking them practical questions that would help make fights happen, or at least get to the bottom of it, who's lying, who's serious about it, etc. "Have you talked to Haymon or your manager about making the fight?" "What have you done so far to start the ball rolling?" etc. The point is, you can get to the bottom of it by going extra deep not just focus on the superficiality of it.

And if both camps are doing nothing about it, then make them both accountable, not just one that you're obviously siding with.
