It's simple. One side is saying they wanted the fight and the other is making every excuse not to fight.Comment

Yea that Mayweather. So yeah, he moved up from where he first fought a title and fought the top guy in the next division. Bad comparison which is why this is the best you can come up with. But this thread isn't about him. And your initial post was all wrong too.Comment

GGG and his team answered it very directly: Andre Ward at 168 presents too big of a risk of a LOSS to GGG. They are not confident in his ability to win that fight. They would "consider" 164. They would fight Froch or Chavez at 168, lesser fighters for more money and less risk of GGG losing. GGG and his team do not believe he can beat the best at 168 so he will stay at 160.
can we now move the **** onComment

This guy is so dumb. GGG is lined up to face the canelo cotto winner in a huge super fight where, honestly, despite with team GGG are saying publicly, golovkin will probably have to go down to 157-158 to make that fight.
So why the hell would he fight Lemieux and then move up 8 pounds to a different division to fight ward???
Can one person honestly say that would make sense?
Ward's team is desperate and are using GGG's popularity to get their name out there again. And they probably shouldn't reference "journeymen" considering Andre's last opponent and probably his next.Comment
