Also, the offer Roc sent to Loeffler was for Ward to fight GGG in 12/18 months time, which is the same time-frame as the 3 fights at LHW deal leading to Ward/Kovalev.
Obviously, he can't do both. Equally obviously, he hasn't agreed to the 3 fights at LHW deal yet, and I don't think he will agree to it.
Seems like the offer Roc sent to Loeffler was them hedging their bets in case Ward will not agree to the Kovalev deal.Comment

Go ahead and call me a knuckle dragging neanderthal who only likes Gatti-Ward replays if you want. I actually like EXCITEMENT and DRAMA when I watch a fight, and Ward provides none whatsoever. He's about as exciting as a 2nd coat of paintLast edited by OnePunch; 10-07-2015, 03:28 PM.Comment

p4p fight or not, there simply is nothing entertaining about Andre Ward. Neither his persona, nor fighting style are of interest to me. Sure, he's talented, no doubt about it. But he just doesnt motivate me to be interested. Picasso was talented too, and I dont buy his stuff either.

Roc and Duva are talking about it but Ward hasn't been signed yet. If he had signed, the first of those 3 fights would be on the Cotto/Canelo undercard, and nobody knows yet whether Ward will be on that card or not.

people pull the excitement card with Rigondeaux, Ward, Mayweather, etc.....the funny thing is all 3 of the guys beat overhyped punchers and the fans saying"excitement" were silenced
they did the same to Roy Jones in the late 90's-2000's.....his fights are boring, blah blah blah but he was winning and winning easy. I like winners...oh he didn't fight nobody...naw he just made em look like nobody, he beat over 17 major title holders and several hall of famers..boxing is hit and not get hit
GGG would get Battered in my book.....Ward has all the advantages except power. Ward is waaaaaay more proven on the world class level and people act like he a scrub......why??? oh yea he isn't racking up knockouts
personally I like winners and more times than not the more versatile fighter wins barring them getting KTFO and that's GGG only hope against Ward
You do realize its the opponents and opposing trainers fault if they don't adjust to the guys that's dominating....Id want all my fights to be boring, the nsame of the game is winning not purposely getting brain damage to appease fans that are not gonna pay your bills later in lifeLast edited by therealpugilist; 10-07-2015, 03:47 PM.Comment
