Ward should blame these 12 loud GGG haters that put him in this uncompromising situation. They literally forced him in it without even consulting with him. It's clear that the guy needs tune up fights first. You can't just assume that he can beat a guy like GGG without getting ample preparations for it.

So I don't blame him for making things up just to please these 12 loud individuals.

Yes, Golovkin's preparation for Ward has been excellent. Rubio, Monroe jr, Stevens should have him ready.

This fight will get pushed into the spotlight whether you like it or not after the Lemieux fight is over.

I for one will make noise about it in my own little way. This fight has to happen and get it over with. Fans, especially the media, need to put pressure on both sides.

This circus act is headlining a ppv next month at the sold out MSG while ward is fighting on BET and couldnt sell out a circus tent in his own hometown of Oakland.

That aside, it would still like to see this fight. I like Ward and its an intriguing matchup of styles. Question is, what weight will it happen at? GGG is a solid 160lb fighter while Ward is fighting in the LHW division as of late. Can Ward even make 168? If so, is it in GGG's best interest to make the move up with so many big fights to make at 160?

With the winner of Cotto/Canelo waiting in the wind, GGG isnt even focused on Ward right now as those 2 fighters bring much more to the table along with a fight against either fighter would be a ppv hit! Ward needs to get his mojo back and fight/beat some relevant fighters to boost his profile.

Funny how putting 10k people into Oracle Arena, on this site at least, is equivalent to not selling out a circus tent. whatever. To that, you can also add the likelihod that K2 will likely lose their **** if the fight even did 200k PPV buys.

Ward and Golovkin walkaround within 10 pounds of each other, and Golovkin is highly unlikely to fight either Cotto or Alvarez. try again

I've got no problem with GGG wanting to clear up at 160 before moving up.

Ward just needs to do something, anything. Nobody seems to know WTF he's doing, 168, 172 or 175, or whether he's having warm up fights or taking on legit competition and if he's going to negotiate his way out of fights by demanding too much as he has in the past.

I don't know why he can't fight a top 15 168er or two, make some money, regain some relevancy and just generally be active again. He's a good fighter and literally wasting his prime.

Ward should take another warm up fight or two and then take on the Bute/DeGale winner. After that, both men should have settled business in their respective divisions.

All the mayweather bumbandits have jumped ship to ward....first they had there great hope broner lined up...he got whacked.....now they have latched on to ward hoping he delivers the golden egg for them....I'll take kovalev over ward when they do fight and they both weigh the same...ward should concentrate on someone his own weight and stop worrying what a 158 fighter is doing....172 vs 158 seems a bit uneven in my eyes

when floyd played the "A/B side" game and brought up his PPVs to brag he was bashed for it ..because according to these fans it ain't about PPVs its about the best facing the best. ..we can all agree that Ward would be the biggest name on little g's resume..but he chooses to play A,B side game and brag that hes headlining a PPV..and instead of bashing, he gets praise by these same fans that hated floyd.
