James DeGale has played down talk of a rematch with George Groves, saying he is only interested in taking on 'elite' fighters.

The only blemish on DeGale's record (21-1 KO14) is a defeat at the hands of Groves back in 2011 when his British rival took the domestic and Commonwealth super-middleweight titles at the O2 Arena.

DeGale has obviously tore a page out of GGG's handbook . Mentioning Wards name by saying "I'm looking at Ward" isn't the same as saying "I want to fight Ward" . These r the types of bold statements that make u relevant when fans can't decipher through the interference/noise .

Degale should target Abraham, which he will win very easily. That's two belts right there and then move on to Ward.

It won't take all of next year ... it will take all of the following year. Ward has knocked off one warm up fight out of three in 2015. The second'll be in 2016 and the third in 2017 - and by that time he will need a fourth. Can we say 2018?
