Yes because Wilder is the only fighter with a high KO% fighting guys with little threat.

Hopefully the WBC will stand their ground. No reason for Wilder to face anyone but Povetkin next. Even if that means waiting for February.
Something wrong with Wilder fighting again while they wait for the purse bids?

Actually PBC has stated plenty of times, including in wilder's last fight, that Wlad is THE heavyweight champ of the world.

Delaying tactics so he can duck Povetkin and get it on with Klitschko, after the champ has knocked Fury out ?

i believe that the wbc rules state that after winning a title the champion may take one optional defence within six months and then they have to take on the mandatory challenger. but i guess the rules don't apply to certain fighters. anyway, povetkin's people have been trying to contact wilder's people since may or june and wilder's people won't deal with them. why is that? surely povetkin brings more money to the table than molina and duhaupas and whatever random bloke they find on page 3 of boxrec's divisional ratings for their next fight

Europeans aren't the only ones who are tired of Wilder's bs defences, everyone wants to see Wilder take his mandatory or unify. Typical Haymon bs at its finest.

You may believe that, but you are mistaken.

                  Read the WBC rules.

There has to be one mandatory defense of each WBC title every year.

A champion isn't bound to fight only one voluntary. In fact, Povetkin didn't even become the mandatory until May, when he won the eliminator.

The WBC was originally going to order negotiations to start in October. They moved that back to November because Povetkin took another fight -- something he could have done before October, as he only fought one round in May, but chose otherwise.

There's a negotiating period before purse bids are ordered. And Wilder's team surely wants purse bids with all that big Russian money because he gets 70 percent if it goes to purse bids.

Jennings put up a tougher fight against Wlad than your hero Sasha did.

Povetkin is the most overrated fighter on NSB by far..

yes,,,he is. I havent seen any other champion duck top contenders like wilder and his lack of quality opponets is the only reason he has such a high kayo percentage
