Yeah you're not fooling anyone, people want to see two big names fight against each other and GGG Vs Ward is only one big name because nobody in Britain, Europe and hell most people in USA wont know who Ward is...
All those fights, that super six gift yet he is still not a big name but the fans want it though, sure.

But PLEASE explain to me how with one 160 unification already signed, and being the mando for yet another, why on earth would a fight at 168, which wouldnt even happen for close to a year, at a 50-50 split with a weaker economic draw, be of ANY interest whatsoever? Why would it even be worth discussing? (and this is probably a fools errand, but at least TRY to be objective)
Cotto/Canelo winner in May, Ward fight later in the year. Make a counteroffer stating your case for a bigger split. 35 mins doe...or was it 36?

So what is a fight that could have been realistically made that is bigger than Ward-GGG after the Canelo fight?

after unifying he can do whatever he wants. He can hang around 160 doing mandos and waiting for a name to come up. Or the more likely scenario is he moves up to 168 after his business at 160 is finished. The Ward situation could easily be revisited in the future. Its not a fight that has huge public demand outside the hardcores.....

Yeah he probably could and his dumb ass fans would lap it up.

Name a bigger fight than Ward post-Canelo.

              GGG-Canelo 2 (if 1st fight was competitive)

GGG-Degale in UK would be bigger than GGG-Ward in US

outside that, not much. 154-160 is a bit bleak.

but none of that matters. Making GGG-Ward now would have meant abandoning the possibility of GGG-Canelo happening at all, and that would have been moronic.

Yes it would. You vastly overrate the interest the US fans have in Ward

So your answer is James DeGale....another fight that Team GGG poured cold water on and would now be extremely difficult to make anyway.

And it would not be bigger than a Ward fight at all.

                      So yeah....nothing.

You can keep saying that, won't make it true.

Canelo next and then Ward after. No obstacles with networks. Should have been a natural progression.

Shame Team GGG robbed the fans.
