A fight vs Canelo (pr vs mexico which always sells in boxing) or a fight at the negotiation table, because thats whats going to happen. Look at what lil g's people have been saying as it regards their stance on negotiating and we know RocNation has Ward whom lil g's people have turned down citing weight and a/b side pay. Cotto doesnt even play at the negotiation table and everyone knows that. So when they offer some bs and cotto doesnt accept it, it will turn to Cotto is scared and not about the bs they will try to offer. If Canelo wins, oscar and team will accept anything to make the fight. So you better hope canelo wins...Lil g turned down a fight with Ward to fight a bum, says everything about his desire and balls and willingness to fight on the elite level against elite competition. Not buying this BS, isnt this the same kinda thing that people on this site say as to why they hate PBC (mismatches)? This bum fight will not go 3 rounds.

Golovkin NEVER turned down a fight with Ward. K2 sent Roc Nation on their way when they made a totally bullcrap proposal AFTER Golovkin had signed to fight Lemieux. A proposal for a fight 16 months down the road. That was a farce designed to keep Ward's name in the media and nothing more.

GGG toughest test has been Curtis Stevenson who is an under sized MW and he had his moments. Lemieux is a straight forward fighter and although he has improved there's nothing special about him other than his power and he was overweight to me for the 30 day weigh in considering fight of this magnitude. Even if GGG beats Cotto he's still fighting a guy whose greatly undersized. Lara and Ward wanted to fight GGG which he declined. If GGG beats a Quillen who I honestly think is his biggest threat in the division that would be a statement. Beating Andy Lee would be a true test as well.

If you think the Stevens fight was a test for GGG, YDKSAB and YDKSAG. Goovkin dragged that fight on for as long as possible because he wanted to teach Stevens a lesson about respect.

Quillin would be lucky to make it to the third round against GGG. He already beat Lee as an amateur and would do so again quite easily as a pro.

So golovkin unifying with another title holder,who's coming off of a 9 fight win streak is a mismatch and a waste of time? That actually says one of two things; either everyone at middleweight is terrible,and ggg is the only decent fighter,or ggg is so good,that he makes all the other fighters look like bums.

You guys get a hero and then pump up every opponent , I like GGG but he is not fighting anyone and has not fought anyone above B+ grade , the real challenge is Ward but he wont go there , other than that Roach is right on this one .

Should it be on PPV? Absolutely not..I'm guessing that's the only way HBO would pay Lemeuix his asking price to fight GGG so it had to be done..

Nobody is blaming GGG just stating its another easy fight with an average fighter , its the guys pumping Lemieux up that is loosing the perspective .

PBC has put on good fights for free to air , if they put their clout behind a PPV Im sure they could do a lot better than this one ,

Are you ret@rded seriously. Go back to school I said going on 2 years. Did I say it's been 2 years? Reading is fundamental. It's over a year right now and so what is it going on? The answer is 2 you idiot. You don't say it going on a year if it's already past a year now and the fight wouldn't happen for another 6 months on top of that. Fact is since he got the belt he knew who the best middleweight was and he's been making a joke of himself, with long layoffs, catch weights and his heart stops every time he's asked about GGG. He's been ducking GGG ever since he won the title which was only a cherry pick against crippled fighter. If he had any dignity he would of just vacated and gone on fighting whoever he wants at whatever catchweight. Then he and his fans can put a tampon on and stop crying that fans are bashing cotto for holding a title and not fighting the best fighter in that weight class. Instead he's been ducking and holding the belt hostage for going on 2 years.
