It's also a challenge, bigger than any Ward has taken, to go up and face a p4per, then #1 active guy in that division, on his home turf in the UK. Hell Ward can't even make 168, yet a guy like Yunieski is too much risk for him as first fight at full 175

You know that Ward offer is a joke, right? Who the fcuk signs contracts 1 year ahead? Triple so if your guy is way more marketable, selling out Msg, has Canelo lined up, and other guy wants to lock him into 50/50 lol
Your sht frightened of GGG fighting Ward thats your agenda why else would you even care in what order he fights guys , its a very big fight that would make both guys a lot of money and the PPV would outsell any fight GGG has been in including this one .and he could always drop back to finish at MW just like he would have done after Froch .

They dont want to risk losing to Ward thats the bottom line , and its no guarantee they would they just dont want to take the risk its as plain as day .

And your fanboy ass wants them to not go near Ward because your frightened of him losing also lol .

For me Id like Ward to fight GGG and straight to Kov after that , everybody gets tested in those match ups .

I doubt even a ****** like you would sign a 50/50 offer for a fight vs B sider Ward a year from now, if you were managing GGG. You see its a joke offer, right?

It's questionable Ward would be even bigger money than Lemieux, never mind Froch or Canelo. He clearly has no pull of his own, see 300k viewers on basic cable. He doesn't bring extra revenue like Canada Ppv, unlike Lemieux. He wants way more money than Lemieux. And unlike Lemieux, casuals don't like his style, and this is who ppvs target. Maybe you should learn something about boxing before making any more feeble posts

Why you making excuse for the fight not to happen lol , I know why .

When a fan argues politics as you do about why their hero cant fight the best guy near his weight you know he is a fanboy frightened his new hero is going to lose .

Its the fight that would say who really is the man , then Ward can fight Kov and thats another great fight , these are the best guys they should duke it out .

GGG could lose to Ward of course. IMO he could also win, but most posters here disagree and feel like Ward Kovalev is way more competitive. Since GGG is all tied up for a while Ward has no excuse not to give the fans the fight they want the most, fcuk Zac Dunn, Periban, and waiting for MW hypejob to move up.

This is where you fall of the rails Ward cannot go to 175 and then back down again he has a big frame once that poundage goes on its there for good which means GGG stays with the little people at that fights gone which would be a shame .

But thats your backdoor lol and your not alone GGG fans dont want Ward , thats your most people lol

Id like to see Ward fight GGG and then fight Kov in the next fight , same as Id like to see GGG fight Ward then Cotto or Canelo in the next fight , or or even go up and fight Kov if he beats Ward , these are the top guys and Ward is in the middle .

Thing is these guys are 1 division apart , not like Floyd Manny who moved up 5 + divisions , yet every body screamed for Floyd to fight GGG but GGG cant move up one , its a duck from what I can see , Im thinking if it becomes really obvious GGG will not fight Ward then Andre will go up to fight Kov .

If GGG can go up for Ward, then down for Canelo, why can't Ward go up for Kov and drop back down for GGG? Just more limited?

Face it, you're not a boxing fan. You'd rather Ward keep fighting bums at catchweights and wait for MW hypejob to come up, then see him fight Kov in a competitive fight, maybe the best in boxing.

But there is no need for GGG to Change Trainers. Obviously Sanchez does his Job verry well with him.

When Ring magazine calls you the best MW, but you've never fought at MW, it shows how BS this politics are.

                  ...
Ring Magazine has Cotto at the top of the division because he won the RING title belt when he defeated Martinez. That is the only reason.

Ward brings nothing at all to the table in either fight. Beating a fighter who has been basically inactive for the past 4 years is not much of a highlight to a career.

I have no problem with Ward fighting Golovkin, he wants the fight? Wait until GGG has unified the division and then drop down to 160 to challenge for all the titles.

Want to fight Kovalev? Then it is time to move up to 175.

Why should two of the most active champions in recent years in ANY division be the ones to make concessions to Andre Ward, a boxer who's greatest contributions to the sport over the past 4 years have been at the HBO commentary table?

Why should Golovkin be the one to change divisions? Why not Ward? He is the one who needs the fight to give his career a boost, not Golovkin who is headlining a PPV event.
