A fight vs Canelo (pr vs mexico which always sells in boxing) or a fight at the negotiation table, because thats whats going to happen. Look at what lil g's people have been saying as it regards their stance on negotiating and we know RocNation has Ward whom lil g's people have turned down citing weight and a/b side pay. Cotto doesnt even play at the negotiation table and everyone knows that. So when they offer some bs and cotto doesnt accept it, it will turn to Cotto is scared and not about the bs they will try to offer. If Canelo wins, oscar and team will accept anything to make the fight. So you better hope canelo wins...Lil g turned down a fight with Ward to fight a bum, says everything about his desire and balls and willingness to fight on the elite level against elite competition. Not buying this BS, isnt this the same kinda thing that people on this site say as to why they hate PBC (mismatches)? This bum fight will not go 3 rounds.

Comparing GGG fighting a unification fight against another world champ who is on every top 5 middleweight ranking who also has one punch KO power to the bum fights on PBC against unknown unranked fighters is beyond dumb. Lemieuux has headlined fights on HBO and has a belt. Don't compare him to unranked fighters and bus drivers we see on mismatches from PBC.

What's funny is when everyone thought Lemieuux was going to have a mandatory challenge first and push off facing GGG to next year fans were crying and saying why don't GGG face a threat in Lemieuux, hes the next best fight at 160 other then Cotto/Canelo oh he will just fight a bum to end the year. Now he is facing Lemieuux and all a sudden Cotto fans trying to lie to themselves like he is a nobody so they can discredit his win if he is impressive. And if he struggles say see GGG is over rated.

Even a hall of fame trainer notices what others try not to notice. This is a mis-match, a waste of time, exactly what others on here accuse PBC of, AND its ppv? Just put on a mask and pull a gun, if youre gonna rob people.

Contrary to ur perception, GGGLemieux in terms of quality matchups is levels above the PBC product, which is a knock off compared to HBO boxing. Which is ironic bcuzwith the names Haymon has HBO shouldnt even be able to compete...but they are and theyre out-performing PBC. At this stage, it looks like Haymon doesnt know wtf hes doing.

It's prize fighting, Cotto took a more lucrative fight against Canelo. No advisor or promoter is going to let a lucrative match up like COTTO-CANELO be potentially spoiled by placing a fighter who has one fight at middleweight in with a guy who has every possible physical advantage and is a career middleweight, after a year layoff. That's why Cotto - Geale happened. It's not like Geale is a bum. Geale is a 2 time world champ and he's the best fighter Golovkin has ever faced.

You and some others are the only ones pretending. If we stick to facts, and what has been said, the only thing that we know is Roach wants the fight and Cotto said if it makes sense GGG is next. Cotto has never said he didn't want to fight GGG, by you insinuating he doesn't, makes you the one who's playing pretend. Note that I have not said Cotto wants/doesn't want to fight GGG.

I said going on 2 years. Learn to read. How is that not a fact? It's over a year so that means he's going on what? You guessed it 2 years. Cotto fights his next fight in Nov so even at the earliest it would not be ready till Spring of 2016. But going by Cotto's long layoffs more likely Summer of 2016. If Cotto is the true test then he should of fought GGG instead Roach wants to talk smack about who GGG is fighting while running from him at the same time. Sorry that is Lame!

And why would Canelo have to talk about GGG? Cotto is the belt holder who has had GGG as the mandatory , Cotto has a belt while avoiding the recognized best Middleweight in the world, that's why he is swarmed with the questions. Face it Cotto looks like a joke of Middleweight champ and that's why fans are bashing him for the catch weights and ducking mandatory.
If and when Canelo beats him and becomes champ we will see how he acts and he will be hit with tons of questions about will he fight GGG. I'll wait till then to judge him. But we don't need time for Cotto he has already made himself look like a clown.

Ahhhh, no, June of next year is 8 months away so no it is not in fact going on 2 years. And if they did fight it would probably be close to two years since he won the belt but that's not what you said. Canelo is fighting for a belt that GGG is the mando too, why shouldn't he speak on GGG? GGG became the Mando in October of 2014, Cotto had one voluntary which he fulfilled in June of this year, if you want to say he's been ducking GGG for the last 5 months to fight Canelo, that would be more factual then the garbage you type.

I'm merely commenting on what a Hall of Fame trainer has noticed because I believe it to be true, and yes middleweight is TERRIBLE. Even worse than the Heavyweight division this guy got beat by RUBIO

Guess what? 59 guys got beat by RUBIO and 51 of them got KNOCKED OUT. Rubio has only lost 8 times and most of those losses were to top level opponents.

Losing to Rubio is not a mark of shame by any means. And it also happened FOUR YEARS AGO! I guess you must be a Ward fan because they all seem to live in a time warp that keeps them in 2011.

GGG in the ring alone, shadow boxing, would be levels above PBC product.
