Respectfully, I disagree. SRL needed DUran the same way GGG needs Ward-to prove they can beat a truly great opponent.

as silly as it sounds, SRL was getting criticized about his ability to beat a guy like Duran(if you doubt me, check the 30 for 30 NO Mas) he needed to a DUran win for his rep.

GGG gets a lot of hype but a lot of fans, even those that like him, wonder if he can defeat a great fighter.

SO from a reputation and respect standpoint GGG needs Ward, despite not needing him for money or hype.

No he doesn't .....ward is not a world.star...Duran was a demon...a mythical animal who totally cleaned out the lightweight division...how dare you compare Andre ward to the stature of a Roberto Duran .leonard vs Duran was a super fight where both guys were iconic fighters..wards last fight was against a bum and he has had 1 fight in 3 years....ward can't even make super middleweight now and golovkin is 158 fighter .....your desperate to justify a fight with ward........how about this ward weighs the same as kovalev.....kovalev is beast at 175 and ward is suppose to be the ****.......well kovalev is waiting for ward to man up......

i had pac winning. he landed the cleaner harder punches. floyd fans scored marquez-pac 3 to marquez because he marquez landed the cleaner harder punches then they did a sudden turn around in floyd-pac so they are worthless and have no consistency/dignity. just mention that hypocrisy and they will start stuttering like their hero floyd jr.

pac was recently knocked out cold and floyd fought so scared and couldn't clearly win against a shot pac. just a terrible fight with all the fear and cheating that floyd did and kenny bayless pretending to be a ref that was cute

anybody that gives pac more than 3 rounds is a pac stain... bottom line .. you talk about fighting scared but manny was supposed to be the one to force the fight, floyd did what hes always done for 20 years ..control the pace and outbox him from the outside.

pac wasn't "recently" knocked out, he bounced back with three one sided victories, you can't use that KO as no excuse for him laying an egg.

Floyd was coming off two hard fights with the plodder maidana.. obvious signs of being washed up, even roach said floyd looked old..so the momentum was all with pac going in the fight

he got outboxed by a washed up 38 year old with dinosaur legs... pac is a disgrace

Well I must be a pack stain as well .because I thought it could have been a draw.......mayweather done nothing when you look at it properly and pacquaio won the bigger rounds than floyd.....close uneventful fight from both of them
