Fair enough, the difference here is Ward had Goosen and even if Goosen was bad to him for business. Ward came straight into the pro's here and had more opportunities. You guys totally devalue the road foreign fighters had to take in order to just get here, what others take for granted these guys fight tooth and nail for. I can bet you golovkin made the same amount of money for his first 5 pro fights that Ward made for his first. Then he gets here, he's up in line for a shot a Sergio who is sitting injured only to watch Cotto come and steal that moment. But talk to me like you are comparing fighters with the same circumstances...not even close. Let's also not act like Golovkin didn't want the fight but Ward had other ideas. Well it wasn't convenient for Ward when HBO and Golovkin wanted it but now it's supposed to happen because PBP and Ward want it to. Again how convenient.

Yes he did but was he at his best? No and Ward knew this and it's all fair for him to take the bout if the other man is willing to come down but let's not act like he beat the fighter at his best either. He took advantage of what worked best for him, this guy is trying to do the same for himself. Meet me halfway isn't much to ask for.Comment
