Why would Lucas retire after beating Pacquiao? Thats when the money and fame comes in and he fights to feed his family, that would be strange and Lucas is young in his prime.

He has spoken of retirement multiple times already. A Pacquiao fight would be to Matthysse what a Mayweather fight was to Maidana who is in no hurry to return. Don't forget the money goes a lot further in Argentina. Matthysse isn't young in boxing terms, he's 33 and has been in a lot of tough bouts.

i mean the fight makes sense but imo mattysee is tailor made for pac but it does make sense. I just think out of all the opponents named matysee is the easiest fight by far. plus im greedy i was really hoping for crawford vs matysee with the winner getting manny second fight. i had a feeling that arum was hoping he could turn the khan talk into a see i told u its haymons fault kind of situation it just didnt seem realistic. but didnt arum just say a week ago khan was the only one they were talking to about the fight and that he dont negotiate with multiple people at once "an obvious back hand at haymon and mayweather"

i don't see how you can say it was shady. he fought the same way he always does. low workrate, very accurate, tight defense. its not like he didn't land on pac he did. pac just threw so much at him. the same thing could be said in the cotto and marg fights. he was landing when he threw but he just didn't throw enough. that's just his style. the way to beat it is outworking him calzaghe style and pac should get credit for beating a top contender but instead people say clottey threw the fight so they can take away credit from pac.
