      It seems that way. Maidana is a good fighter but the hunger seems to be long gone which is completely understandable. He doesn't have to fight anymore.

        Why is it understandable that his hunger is gone? He hasn't really done anything as a boxer. His two best wins are against Victor Ortiz & Broner. He got two decent paydays against Mayweather got lazy and ate himself out of a weight division. If this were Khan, Garcia, or Broner they would be getting crucified for doing what Maidana has done.

              Maidana was a big welterweight against Floyd, but at 154 I fear he wouldn't have enough energy... better to stay out of big fights till he gets back down to 147. Do a tune up at 154 in Argentina if wanted... against a decent guy. I don't like the Lara matchup at all.
