Horrible match ups for Chino!
Lara will just stick and move (Devon Alexander fight all over). Lara is the way to kill what's left of his career, no way he wins.
Charlo, I haven't seen enough of him, but he will try to box.
Maidana needs to fight a fighter that likes to mix it up, that is when he is at his best.
His best route would be Margarito, Angulo, Kirkland or even Mayorga.
Those would be all action fights, both would get paid and even if he loses, he could rematch or fight again.
No reason to put him in with a boxer that is bigger.
He probably can't win a belt at 154 anyway.
If he won 2-3 at 154, then end career with Cotto or Canelo, but first fight at new weight (and after layoff) should be safe, just incase his prime was left in the Mayweather fights (he fought a great fight in 1st, only to lose by 9-3 and 8-4 on 2 cards, that might have turned him off, like when Hagler retired after Leonard fight).

The only thing that worries me about this is HIS ROAD to 154, HOW he will get there. I suspect and I'm afraid that he'll get there the wrong way fast, and not gradually doing proper exercises and diet.

Paulie will think he can outbox you and he will take the money.

Beat up paulie and try to make 147 vs porter or provodnikov.
He could even catchweight them at 150.

Then go to 154 for a try. He needs to do it right and build muscle .

I love Maidana but I think 154 is way too big for him. He looks soft and fleshy at 147 and I think 140 would be his best weight. He fought effectively at that weight for years. He sure shouldn't fight heavier than 147 but that's his choice. I will route for him at whatever weight he fights at.
