Accents is not genetic. If you were raised in Great Britain and go to school there, no matter your color, you'd speak with a British accent.
If you grow up in Harlem New York around Black friends, you would likely have that Harlem accent and vocabulary, like the n word even though the person is not black. It happens a lot.
So yeah, you can develop the same accent and vocab as the culture you were raised around.
Yep, you should listen to some US soccer players that go to England to play in their leagues. In a year, you can't tell their accent apart from the average limey tard.
ok...... Danny Garcia have a Spanish accent or does he sound like an American?
If I only heard DSG's voice and never saw him or knew his background, I could tell you 100% he is Hispanic. He sounds like a Hispanic who got acclimated to that hood accent.

I could say that's plausible with the way he enunciates but he's shown pretty weak Spanish however I don't know if accent and knowledgeable vocabulary go hand in hand.
Those interviews of him speaking Spanish isn't too good but he's probably good at understanding Spanish being spoken to him.
yea but if i only heard his voice i could probably pin point him out as being purto rican or dominican or something, just like i would be able to point out a mexican accent no matter how long they have lived in the US

1 year? That's crazy. Like adults going to England, and after 1 year they speak British?

theres no such thing as a "american accent"
id say there's a cookie cutter american accent if you ask other countries but people in the states know we differ state to state because i know damn well guys in Texas dont talk like we do in the Bay Area.
