My point is, the fights that Berto has lost came as a result of getting battered, knocked down, hurt, etc.. He experienced none of that in his fight with Floyd. This is why I can see how Berto felt that he expected Floyd to do more to get the win than just outpointing him. Especially going up against arguably the best of our era and self proclaimed TBE.

There's no doubt that Floyd is the best at avoiding taking punishment, but at the same time, he is hardly able to dish it out in return.

lol he knocked those guys down and was in a war with them but somehow that's more impressive than making him miss 87% of his punches and not being knocked down at all or hurt......those fights were more exciting but I don't understand the logic..

So he expected to get knocked out? He lost every round.

Maybe he did. Many Floyd fans who justified this fight did as well by saying..."Floyd wants to go out with a KO and that's why he picked Berto because he will open up more and take more risks to get it".

Personally I believe that Berto expected Floyd to be more offensive in this fight and go for the KO as well.

For starters. Mayweather was looking for an Aggressive Berto...We didn't get that. If there's no aggressiveness from the opposition, don't look for Mayweather to expose himself to counters as the aggressor. Berto came in and did exactly what Virgil Hunter DID NOT want him to do...which was chase him around he ring (instead of cutting the ring off) not vary the jab speed to set up the OverHand Right (he threw the jab as a hard punch the entire fight). Why weren't you KO'ed you ask, Berto? Because you weren't the typical Andre Berto for this fight.

This mfer expected to land in the hospital? Mfer won 2 rounds if you was his biggest fan. You can't not do **** effective on fight night & then act like your opponent is dog****. You was dog**** Berto. F#ck Berto was dog**** before the fight lol. Josesito Lopez was outboxing his ass. Plus the most damaging mark on Floyd's resume is now that Floyd even fought this guy ffs.

Although now after saying all the real **** I guess I can see Berto saying some crazy **** to boost up his self esteem. This mfer bout to jump off a bridge with all the **** he been taken, rightfully or not.
