When you compare how Berto lost to guys like Ortiz and Guerrero, then how he lost to Floyd, I can see why he said what he said. Those guys physically beat him up! Guerrero turned Berto into a black asian for christ sakes. Floyd on the other hand doesnt cause physical harm or beat you up. He outpoints you. You can go 12 and lose every round to Floyd yet leave the ring looking as if you spent the day at the spa.

lmao ....I'm right with ya on this one. Berto landed almost nothing cleanly, and certainly nothing that had any actual impact, en route to a shutout as far as I'm concerned... and he expected more?

Mayweather took a few more risks but not many. It was billed as the final fight of his career and he announced his retirement following the match.

Because it was pushed as his last fight, and he was such a massive favorite to win, Berto expected him to go for a knockout as he promised in many of the pre-fight interviews.

What's your point? Those guys you mentioned took their fair share of punishment in the ring vs Berto as well.

You still expecting the 27 year old version of a 38 year old fighter with brittle hands?

maybe im overlooking something but i honestly dont see why people get so offended that a fighter believes he is the best ever as far as getting the win. im not saying i think mayweather the best ever i do think hes way higher ranked then givin credit but the hate this man gets just because he is confident in his abilities is almost ridiculous. I understand not agreeing but for some reason it makes people so mad. Its no different then when ali said he was the greatest. No one actually thought he was the greatest even tho he was great. over time his stock has risen and risen and risen i just honestly dont get why the whole TBE thing makes people so angry. you guys sound like a bunch of old men yelling at kids to get out of their yard.
