@ the Ward fans who thought he could still make 168.

Yep Light heavywieght may get interesting. Ward, Kovalev, Fonfara, Gonzalez, Pascal, Beterbiev, and chicken Stevenson. add one more and you could have a great 8 tourney.

            Right.

Is that why GGG was begging a retired Froch and Chavez ****ing Jr for fights at 168? Because he was trying to unify MW? Or thats just the answer given when Ward is brought up?

Also, the prestigious history of the MW division does not embellish GGG's resume today. What kind of weirdo logic are you trying to apply here? When Hops ruled over a weak division everyone told him the division was weak. Its even weaker today.

GGG trying to fight a great fighter should please you too, but I guess protecting your man is more important.

You really cant add 2 and 2 together yourself?

                Ok let me educate you.

Golovkin was making the offer to Froch after Froch sold out Wembley Stadion and was not retired and he made Chavez Jr the offer when he was with Arum and still a huge name, both fights = PPV fights and GGG didnt have any other MW champ to unify titles at that time.

Now he has the option to fight in his natural weightclass and to unify titles at the same time, headlining hist first PPV and having the option to fight Canelo/Cotto afterwards, it cannot get any better than that, whats so hard to understand about it?

i'm guessing pascal is the target. he has a bigger profile than gonzalez and the fishy win over him. i guess it will be ward-pascal and kovalev-gonzalez. then we also have beterbiev-barrera and alvarez-chilemba, so that leaves stevenson with fonfara ii or rodriguez, unless they find another utter bum for him. good times ahead for lhw

if he fights Stevenson and the current P4P King Kovalev, he has a chance at the real greatness I believe he wanted.

This is it for Ward. He is about to enter the part of his career where he should be a start and dominating. He has lost years. He should not even be ranked due to inactivity and fighting bums. Time to make up for it. Hopefully he realized he is not a star and he can't make demands or stay in Oakland.

                    Hopefully Ward wants it bad.

                    I am salivating over Ward-Kovalev.

If Ward could sell out Wembley like Froch, Ward-GGG would have already happened by now
