More so for Canelo. I said it after the Floyd fight. As long as he keeps winning and the further we get from that loss people will start to chalk it up to inexperience and that he wasn't ready for that fight. Once Canelo beats Cotto he can claim the Cinco de Mayo and September fight dates for himself for the near future. Personally I think its Canelo's coming out party and he shows he is ready for the next step in his career.

IMO if Canelo wins he will be the new PPV King but if Cotto wins not so much. Canelo has that huge Mexican following Cotto doesn't just that simple.
