WHAT THE HELL IS THAT ABOMINATION??????????????

He has basically ruined one of the most beautiful aspects of a professional prize fighter, his ring entrance;

-The music
-The walk
-The entourages
-The confidence or lack thereof


Ring Entrance shows the personality of a boxer. It adds to the excitement, the ambiance of the entire proceeding. Its just as much as part of boxing as a jab.

ITS HISTORY.
ITS TIME HONORED TRADITION.

Ring Entrance is part of the ESSENCE of a prize fighter.

What Al Haymon has done is basically bastardized the ring entrance by microwaving it. Hurry up and get to the ring. The music only lasts for so long and the fighter is separated from his entourage. I dont like the ring entrance set up of the PBC. Its a disgrace to the sport and disrespectful to a fighter.

One thing he can correct literally right now is the entire feel of it, just doesnt feel like a legit boxing match at all has more of a game show/wwe feel which I dont like at all. That all cause of the essence of boxing he stripped away from it with his pbc shows, I saw keep it as is in that regards and it will be 1000x better.

I don't like the ring entrances but there's a good reason for it.

The music is because he was in the music industry and knows if ASCAP wanted to, they could sue him for using artist material without permission.

The ring entrance without the entourage is because he needs to make sure there's no riff raff and bs. PBC has commercials, PBC doesn't have time to kick Tyrone, and Lesean out of the ring because they want some camera time.

But ya, I far prefer the feel of boxing without commercials and rules of network boxing.

To hell with tradition.

For the first time in a long time, tbh, a relative outside figure is coming into the sport, with money backing him, having utterly no interest in overshadowing the actual fighters.

No colorful promoter, no yardbarker in the corner, no superstar musical act, no 50 irrelevant suits in the ring, etc.

In Haymon's vision for the sport, the fighter is featured above everything. Ref gets his respect in the ring, but it's about THE FIGHTER walking to the ring with the entire spotlight on him (fighters coming down the main stage to their own choice of music was a great fix, but keeping the extra to simply a fighter's trainer/cutman/one extra is perfect, to me), THE FIGHTER getting the big presentation, THE FIGHTER relishing in his victory/sulking in defeat, and THE FIGHTER drawing the attention of the fans.

The fighter is the one who is taking all of the risk, and Haymon's vision for the sport makes that blatantly clear for the fans.
