I have said before when people where talking about both Klitschko brothers not fighting quality opponents that there really weren't any. Even after Vitali retired and Wlad kept going maybe one or two of those guys he fought are actually good fighters and Wlad has become a great one. The fact does remain though, that aside from Wlad there isn't another heavyweight that is dominating the rest of the division, that includes Wilder, who is being spoon fed. Wilder does have some skill and power but if he want's to beat Klitschko he needs to put on about 20lbs and start fighting some of the guys left that can actually test him. If he gets into the ring with Klitschko now he won't last six rounds. Klitschko is way too big and powerful for him. Yeah, Wilder is tall and everyone always goes ga ga over big, tall heavyweights (Michael Grant, Jameel McCline), but they never deliver and although Wilder is tall he is a string bean.
was going to say hes still young but went and checked and he turns 30 in a month. What is with all the guys these days been spoon fed soft touches until their 30s?
"prospect" used to mean guys 23 and under who havent gotten to challenging for a title yet. This is a freaking joke. Career is more than halfway over and still fighting bums. Its like being 40 years old and working fast food still talking about going to college someday and getting a real job.
And yeah he should put on some mass, both klits were in the 220s in their early 20s but by 30 they were 240's. He should be coming in atleast over 230 consistently at his age and size.Comment

Like you're saying up there, these guys fought everyone put in front of them--the division was just crap for so long, and now it's becoming a little more fun again. Even with a rusty Haye (note: we need a pun term for a "rusty haye" as well) being back soon, he won't be what he was, but he'll always have that unexpected ko power. And as far as Klitschko goes, I thing the Fury fight will be a very physical one, but I don't know--I just think Wlad is going to punish him after a few rounds. You know, it was funny--every year Wladimir gets older, he gets a little more outspoken and I like it. When they asked him about Pulev--a guy Fury had avoided, being the toughest test of his career, he looked visibly irritated and said, "What if I knock him out in the first round?! What will you say then?" And I thought that was hilarious because he took a great shot from Pulev who'd I'd imagine is just as strong if not stronger punching wise than Fury, and then proceeded to knock him down then out.Comment
