Mayweather was groomed for stardom from his pro debut after success at the Olympics, Brook has been forced to take a different path due to not being as heralded.

Essentially his career starts now and he has plenty of work to do to even come close to matching Mayweather's career.

Brook is riding Mayweather's coattails. His resume is garbage but he's on p4p lists and hyped up because he snagged a belt at 147 which led to "Mayweather showdown" talk.
