Look at those two spastics in the first page. Loeffler put the stamp on the issue, there's no more need for it to be talked about.

Oscar aint letting Canelo anywhere near GGG, and Cotto isn't touching him. So after he beats the french man than whos next? Lee? Thats it, thats all he has. Then he is right back at square one.
Meanwhile Ward has proven elite boxers in Degeale and Jack in his division that he can make fights with, beat them both and end up right back at the top of the p4p list. This would take any bargaining power that GGG had. Not to mention Chavez pretty much being a super middle, it is becoming a money division. GGG should bite on this Ward fight while he holds the chips because his time is slipping fast.
From there, he has the choice to move up to SMW and take on any of the champions there with no trouble at all. If someone can manage to unify the titles at SMW in the meantime, that would be a massive PPV event. Once GGG unifies the MW titles, he will be able to get any fight he could want.
And what the hell are you bringing Chavez into the discussion for? He is totally irrelevant and holds no title and is not likely to be holding one anytime soon.

Name another fighter not named Cotto or Klitcho that has sold out the Garden recently. GGG has just broke into that tier of popularity and has only been on HBO for 3 years! How can people not see this rise as different? I'm from Jersey and I'm not familiar with Alabama but the Garden can hold about 20 thousand people. And for a sport that isn't mainstream in this country that's an achievement.

degale and jack are with haymon so presumably off-limits to ward, and no one wants to see an abraham rematch. tricky situation for ward. maybe hbo could apply some pressure to arum and get zurdo for him, but apart from that it's slim pickings. not really any exciting 168 lbs prospects that i can think of either (unlike middleweight, which is full of them)

And none of that changes one simple thing, Ward brings nothing to the table in terms of earning power. He brings an extra 15-20 pounds, and the ability to clinch all night.
To take a fight like that, put on the extra weight, GGG should do it when Ward has so earning power to bring with him, not when he is begging for a fight because GGG has leaped over him in terms of popularity.

You are talking about a guy that works for HBO and they wouldn't put on his last fight because he refuses to fight anyone decent...

If Ward is A-side, he should have no issues selling out. But he does, he can't give away tickets in his own state.
If Ward was so popular, and such a big name, then he wouldn't be looking like the current addition to Khan, begging Mayweather for a fight (or the ultimate clinch fest).

Wasn't the Ward interview taken around the time the floyd fight happened?
They asked him a question & he answered it.
"He keeps talking about us!"

Typical Ward playing the moron again with his ****** advisers and clown management. kids like Ward are being misplayed and confused getting bad career advice costing them millions. Ward needs a white manager with a brain to help him. Good for little g having a career plan that is so solid and wise. See the difference in the two men?? it's so obvious what good management does for fighter with a future. little g going going gone.
