He doesn't have a fan friendly style, I think we can agree on that. If any casual fans were to buy the fight, it would be soley for Golovkin, not Ward, whereas I'm 100% sure there are a fair amount of fans that see Lemiuex as an exciting opponent that will give them their moneys worth, which can't be said about Ward.

My point still stands, in what realm of reality is Ward in when he believes that he deserves a 50-50 split with zero concessions when he is the B-side in this imaginary PPV?
You and every other person that pretends Ward is irrelevant and no one wants to watch him need to stop fooling yourselves. It's seriously desperate, like you are all want him to go away so badly that you are going to keep repeating how irrelevant he is in hopes it comes true.

Andre Ward is one of the best fighters in the world and is clearly the biggest threat to Golovkin otherwise they wouldn't be so hesitant to get in the ring with him.

There really was no A-side and B-side when the offer was made. We'll see how Golovkin does on PPV because like I said, it's a complete gamble from HBO.

If Golovkin-Lemiuex flops then Ward will surely point that out. To be honest, there'll almost certainly be more eyes on his next fight considering it's set to be on the Canelo-Cotto card.

I have no idea what the split would be. I know Ward makes more than Golovkin, so I doubt he takes much less than 50-50. And it should be at 168 because Golovkin was willing to move up to 168 for everyone else. It's only right he do so for the best fighter in the division. Weight is only an issue because Team Golovkin threw up a road block.
        It's like you don't listen.

What made the fights between Chavez and Froch PPV? That's right, Chavez and Froch.

Golovkin had to concede to both of them, in weight and money, obviously, because he was the B-side.

What makes Ward vs GGG PPV? Golovkin and only Golovkin, yet you believe Ward shouldn't concede anything, hilarious.

HBO have taken a complete stab in the dark on this Golovkin-Lemiuex PPV to gauge Golovkin's popularity. Nobody knows who Lemiuex is outside of Canada.
I don't even think they're taking a stab in the dark. The fight really doesn't even make sense for Oscar. I'm sure he viewed Lemieux as his ace in the hole keeping a belt warm for Canelo, win or lose against Cotto. So I'm pretty sure he was asking for a dollar ammount HBO didn't wanna outright put up. And even a disappointing PPV buyrate likely sweetened the pot enough to make it worth the cash out.

According to your dumb ass Froch vs GGG is a PPV but Ward (who beat Froch easily) vs GGG is not a PPV lol fckin hilarious!

You have just confirmed yourself as the ******est motherfcker on this site!

You would rather PAY to see GGG vs Froch than GGG vs Ward.

            Like I said..fcking ******ed.
Real boxing fans would pay to see GGG vs Froch over GGG vs Ward. If I want to see a two guys hold eachother and dance, I'll go watch Police Academys Blue Oyster scene.

No casual fans know who Andre Ward is. Casual fans are people who watch PPV with friends and the ocassional HBO fight, and Ward has been on premium cable once in 3 years..
Ward's last two fights on HBO have done 1.2million and 1.3million viewers.

In the same vicinity as the ratings that Golovkin is so highly praised for.

GGG's representative said 50/50 on money and 164. Ward said OK to 50/50. Previously Ward supposedly wanted 60/40.

Bro, It's 2015 man. I don't care about pre fall of Andre Ward. You are bringing up the Dawson fight of 2011? And his first comeback fight? Come on man stop reaching...

You are talking about a guy that works for HBO and they wouldn't put on his last fight because he refuses to fight anyone decent...

I didn't say anything about Ward not conceding anything. It's like you don't read and are so desperate not to see Ward/Golovkin that you're seeing things I'm not saying.

What would make Ward/Golovkin PPV is that both fighters command purses too large to put on normal television. This was true a year ago, when no one was talking about Golovkin on PPV yet. You know why? Because Ward makes good money. He makes more per fight than Golovkin has.

You're lying to yourself if you think Ward/Golovkin would only be PPV because of Golovkin.
