Originally posted by Eastcoast View PostWhat if Golovkin doesn't want Ward? They made their objectives clear at MW. At any rate he clearly isn't going to risk his record and momentum moving up for Ward when he's finally got Lemieux, Lee/Saunders, Alvarez all lined up in the next year.
Ward's was quoted in December 2011: "Going up to light heavyweight for the right fight -- not to campaign up there, but for the right fight -- is an option.". After Ward made that statement, he went on to fight the LHW champion - Dawson at 168 and then turned down a 2 fight offer vs the next champ Stevenson at both 168 in Oakland and 175 in Montreal. So who's frontin?
Ward's a career long hypocrite with the **** he says. Calls out Chavez, 5 months later calls Froch a coward for him calling out Chavez. Says Bute needs to earn it, but jumps to sign a fight with a clearly shot Pavlik who's been struggling with journeymen. Even now he's trying to fight another Zac Dunne type fighter when HBO pushed Yuneski Gonzalez. Where's Andre's balls at?
look man idc what he's got lined up at mw. It's been established everywhere that he is the man and he's sticking around in a division where no one supposedly wants him. That's fine by me. Just please stop faking the funk and say you want 50/50 on everything to make a fight then turn it down when that opponent steps up. I really wish Andre would release that email so we can see the ggg calvary retreat to some other bs excuse as to why ward should leave their man alone.
nonetheless, I think ward needs to stop picking on that team, his fans and the entire entity known to be associated with gg. I actually would rather him target 175 since hoe cards are being pulled by the most feared man in the world.
by the way, I called ward out for refusing that home and home against Stevenson. ***** move. See, I can be a fan and critique a fighter i like at the same time. I don't run for excuses like these little g's do

Originally posted by Eastcoast View PostYeah right. In this video Ward said they made the offer several months ago. Since then Ward said he needed tune-up fights and fought Paul Smith at 172lbs and just made an offer to a 24 year old novice in Zac Dunn.
As always, Ward's actions are different from his word.
You're the leader of the groupies!
Its ridiculous seeing ya defend that bs 164 lbs cw
while at the same time complain about cw's with other fighters.

Sometimes it seems he is taking his nickname literal and thinks he is Jesus.
Even most GGG fans would want to see GGG in a tough fight with a skilled fighter, but Ward has to be active again and get some exposure and make some fans, but all he does is talk and talk and talk. When does he actually fight a decent fighter at 168 and prove he is a draw?
Right now no one cares about Ward, no one watches him while GGG is headlining his first PPV and will then hopefully fight the Canelo/Cotto winner, maybe Andy Lee and unify all the Middleweight titles. That is what every fighter dreams about and what most of his fans want to witness.
If Ward gets his stuff together and does more fighting than talking then we might see a fight between those two late next year.

Did Roc Nation offer them the 164 catchweight though? I recall that being a big deal for Loeffler.

"We are not considering Ward until we see whether Golovkin will get to fight the Cotto/Alvarez winner."
That is all Team Golovkin has to say. That the feel compelled to make a hundred different excuses other than that is what makes you wonder whether they're scared to put him in with Ward.

But why not Ward next? No one else other than each other have a chance at beating Ward and Golovkin 168 down. I am dying to see that fight.
GGG's fans shouldn't have nothing to worry about on that fight cuz according to them GGG is gonna walk through Ward.
They must know something deep down inside.
