They would accept a 50/50 split because those was the terms team lil g said lmao

You can try and ignore that all you like, but that's the state of play.
Team lil g hoping canelo/cotto winner don't drop belt and fight eachother again in rematch unifying weak mw division does nothing for lil g, he need that canelo/cotto name on resume to justify staying in weak division to avoid ward when he was still chasing a froch fight at 168 up until froch anounced retirement

Ward was busy trying to get his legal issues fixed when Lil' G and his team was talking big ****....now that those issues are resolved, Lil' G and his team is using Ward's time off as an excuse to avoid fighting him....Ward needs to build his name, Ward needs to move up...blah blah blah....Ward whoops Lil' G's ass and you KNOW it.....don't ever try to sell bs to people who know the prices bro
Your logic is pathetic. Lil-G, you and Ward are lame. Ward self imposed legal trouble didn't stop him from fighting. He was stripped of his P4P, and you all are begging GGG fix that for him.

Why the heck should GGG forgo big money, PPV fights, possible unification bouts, and a shot at P4P to fight a guy who brings none of the above.

Where was Ward when he was offered a 164 50/50 split. He was no where in sight.

Ward can make Dawson come down to 168, but he can't come down 4 pounds to have a shot at getting back at the top.

GGG may not get the winner of Canelo/Cotto, they are both pretenders. They can vacate the belt and GGG will get it outright or fight someone for it. Then he'll likely get the other belt too.

Hopefully by then Ward has done something other than fighting 172 pound overweight guys. Maybe Ward would be worth a risk, maybe not.

Ward is a good clincher, holder, hugger, and had at one point some decent skill (although I wonder if he still has it considering he has waisted so much time talking about fighting).

You right, Ward is a risky fight. And GGG should take it someday if it is worth the risk.

GGG isn't going up to 168 yet, so Ward would have plenty of weight to hold all night.

So call GGG lil-g all you want, do you think it matters? He is on the way up, while at best Ward is going to start looking awfully a lot like Khan, begging a more popular fighter for a shot.

              • lol @ all the little g's talking about Ward fighting Kov. lmao this is the same kov that they loved bringing up when talking about little g beating kov senseless in sparring like it's a badge of honor to them. Yet, they want a guy that little g supposedly battered to fight Ward for them. The tremble is real

For one, Froch is a 168 fight. Ward has never truly been one. He fought as a LHW in Olympics, but came out against smaller fighters.

It's becoming clear than Ward cannot even make 168. He would probably not make weight against GGG and dare GGG to call of the match.

Ward said he walks around at 180. I bet he even rehydrates to 185-190.

Why in the world does GGG take that risk while Ward brings nothing to the table.

When GGG offered Ward a 50/50 at 164, he was doing him a favor.

GGG could use Canelo, but if they vacate to duck him, it's the next best thing.

Ward gives GGG little in return, but a BET fighter who can't give away tickets.
