Yeah but Pacquiao did nothing because he was afraid of the counter coming back to him...this was shown in Round 1.
All Floyd does is stay in the pocket against his opponents and roll off the punches. The thing that had people thinking that Pac could do something was because he was a southpaw. However, Pac is not really a boxer in the ring than more of a brawler/fighter.
He did nothing to set up his left hand against Floyd and made no adjustments. It also didn't help that he was the shorter fighter so the right jab (if used effectively would bother Floyd) couldn't get to the target so the left could come afterwards. With that reach disadvantage, he can't give Floyd different looks.
Thats right it was.
The southpaw thing..... way overblown. Mayweathers toughest fights were not southpaws, and southpaws are vulnerable to lead right hands.
I always said that closing the distance on Mayweather would be Pacquiaos biggest problem, especially once Mayweather had established the perimeter and turned the fight into a boxing match.
That precision/technique + length = an awful stylistic matchup for Pac.
Well, Floyd Sr told Jr that he was fighting scared in the Manny fight.
Still, there was nothing entertaining about the Berto fight. My wife was knocked out in 2 rounds (fell asleep) and there was no interest on the fight by anyone
what do fans talk about? which of his last two fights ****** more
there's your legacy
You mean what do the pile of hating sour g**** losers left behind talk about , the fans are talking about his legacy as is many great fighters and trainers , youre such a girl cry baby lol .
If you knew both fighters and how they fight, then you would know that the fight wouldn't even be close. What you saw in the May-Pac fight is what was expected.
