What kind of BS logic is that. It's not logical at all.

I don't think Wlad is the best fighter in the world. Even near it for that matter.

So he doesn't deserve the top spot.

No one has earned that spot. The top 5 p4p or so are indistinguishable from each other right now.

Lol what a wild thread. Never use Boxrec as a means of ratings. Just use it to refresh your memory on resumes and small things like that.

Deserved imo. He is exceptional - a highly intelligent fighter - but he doesn't take many risks, which is why he's lasted so long. You look at his foundation it's jab and footwork, controlling space and tying up guys who try and get inside him. He's never reckless or rash, but has the power to KO anybody with a hook or right hand. His chin is defo not granite as we know, but the defense is watertight. Very hard man to hit clean, and the winning formula from Steward is still edging him to high atg status.

I'm pretty sure boxrec uses a specific formula for there rankings, which basically put a major emphasis on CONSISTENTLY fighting the top ranked fighters in the division.

So it Would make sense why Wlad Would be #1.

this is how top 5 p4p should be right now.

                    1. wlad
                    2. gonzalez
                    3. rigondeaux
                    4. pacquiao
                    5. kovalev

but of course the ring p4p is rigged.

                      Boxrec's all time p4p ratings

                      1. Archie Moore
                      2. Sugar Ray Robinson
                      3. Muhammad Ali
                      4. Joe Louis
                      5. Ezzard Charles

Marciano in the top 20, but no Ray Leonard, Duran and Pep.

I'd say their methodology is a little suspect.
