At least you're consistent! The only problem I have is that Floyd never called out GGG, and Ward never called out Kovalev. GGG said he'd fight Chavez Jr. and Froch @ 168, but then says Ward needs to come to 164!

Ward said he wanted to fight Hopkins and then Hopkins lost to Dawson and Dawson ended coming to 168. Later Ward turned down the Adonis Stevenson 2-fight offer for 168 in Oakland then 175 in Montreal. All after saying:
"Going up to light heavyweight for the right fight -- not to campaign up there, but for the right fight -- is an option."


Ward also called out Chavez Jr. but said Bute needed to prove himself, but I guess that's a different story.

im lost.... so on one hand you guys couldn't wait for him to retire and be away from the sport but on the other hand you want to see him fight GGG and are still on every thread with his name in it before the actual Floyd fans??? can you all explain this?

Floyd held the 154 belt, so make it 156 half way from 54 to 60!

Floyd is 5'8"

Not that extreme in height at all. Floyds reaches at 72 GGG at 70!
Its not a huge advantage if any at all. They're both small in their weight classes however all Welters are smaller than Floyd.

This would be Floyds biggest pay day because all fans know that GGG wouldn't give in the way Floyds hand picked opponents did.
It would be a good fight and Floyd would be a huge step up for Golovkin who hasn't fought anyone with a real plan or actually has the tools to beat him. Floyd does have the tools it would be a "chess game" that Mayweather would have to play perfectly.
GGG does bring the "consequences" with him, something NONE of Floyds opponents own. POWER!
If Floyd was serious about being considered an ATG or TBE the welter champ always tries out the middle champ. The real best ever did (SRR) and won
