I can understand a father not wanting his son to take such a risk. But for Floyd to take such a major risk with his 0, would earn more respect than all his other victories put together.

People say that haters just want to see him take a beating. But he wont take punch after punch like Taylor did against Chavez. It wouldnt take that many punches.
I believe his skill could out manoeuvre and out score Golovkin. Not sure if he could last the distance though. And thats where the opportunity lies for Floyd to reach true greatness.
Golovkin is Floyds Foreman.

Jim Lampley made a good point in that Roberto Duran at welterweight made the jump to middleweight to face Marvin Hagler who was destroying everybody in his path. Floyd will avoid this one. But this would be his biggest fight left.

I think it's safe to assume that if Duran had been earning $40m+ for fighting welterweights, he would never have moved up for Hagler.

Thank you bruh! Maidana is more capable of giving GGG a fight than Floyd. Floyd doesn't even exceed 160 between fights! However, if GGG pulls in 1.5 million PPVs in October, Floyd may be tempted to take that challenge @ 154. If not, then Cotto or Canelo would make much more $ense!

Too big for what? Too big for Floyd to win maybe. Thats why Floyd will never be top 20 ATG, because he never took the risks. Too big in boxing doesnt exist. Im assuming Senior thinks Floyd would be a massive underdog, and being a massive underdog isnt even a reason to not take a fight.

Floyd has got an unbeaten record and thats all he has to boast about. How can Floyd use hes too big excuse, but Duran couldnt use that excuse against Barkley, or SRL against Lalonde or Pac v Margarito or RJJ against Ruiz? Beating Pac is a very good win for FLoyd even with pacs shoulder injury, but he is JMMs used goods so is hardly a fight you can consider a risk it doesnt come under that category of fight for Floyd. Floyd needs to fight outside his country or take a risk against GGG. But when he takes a risk he wont need to shout it from the rooftops because people will know he took a risk.

GGG will kill himself making 154 and it dont matter what he rehydrates to.
