Once again, crazy old Mayweather Sr. is caught with his foot in his mouth by saying Golovkin is too big for his son but then goes on to say he couldn't beat his son anyways. If Golovkin wouldn't be able to hit Jr., why not put him in the fight? His reasoning makes no sense at all, especially considering Floyd wouldn't even give his weight on fight night against Berto. Surprise, surprise, it's ok for Floyd to have a weight advantage, just as long as none of his opponents do. If he doesn't want to fight at Junior Middleweight, which is what Golovkin is willing to go down to for a fight with Mayweather, then why the hell is he currently the holder of a world title at Junior Middleweight?
Presenting the possibility of a Mayweather/Golovkin match up is ridiculous anyways because Floyd would NEVER in a million years agree to face him. He just fought Andre Berto for Christ's sake! If you're not willing to face a Welterweight in the top 10, there's no way you're going to face the best at Middleweight.Comment

Ha ha, yeah, his moniker of TBE should come with an asterisk: Floyd Mayweather is "The Best Ever" as long as he has the weight advantage, has his choice of ref, judges, venue, gloves, can dictate the drug testing period and is not subject to penalties from fouls in the ring.
Another one could be "The Best Ever" at making the boxing world think he is the best ever.Comment

Oh i definitely give him credit. Its was a good win and he was massively outsized, but you cant compare GGG to Margarito in terms of size.
If GGG fought the Marg who fought Pac you would see it clear as day.
Thenyou have to factor in where each guy is in his career (GGG prime, Mayweather past prime, Marg was past prime and Pac was prime) and i dont think its a fair comparison at allComment
