Canelo was too young but that is the best example you have and still weight drained him otherwise the fight wasnt going to happen. Floyd has carefully picked his opponents waiting for most to take abuse get some losses before he chose to fight them. None of theses guys were in their primes.
The point is the issue of "prime" only seem to be relevant when it's Mayweather but no one bring it up when those same fighters fight each other. All fighters carefully pick their opponent but Mayweather gets lambasted for doing it. Maybe the problem he keeps winning. Well he's retired now so you probably need to find a hobby or something to move on with your life.

When has Oscar been involved with drug needles (that's Mayweather and his PEDs) or pipes? As for the rest I could care what he does away from boxing. What Oscar is talking about is in the ring. And Mayweather has been a boring fighter accused of avoiding facing guys in their prime. Oscar ain't saying nothing that millions of fans arent already saying about Floyd.

Can't wait til this phag drops from high blood pressure or hypertension. He is still so salty its bound to happen soon enough. The "Canelo era" he's talking about won't ever exist. There is no one at HBO in his weight range besides GGG and he doesn't want that and since the Mayweather fight his PPV's have steadily declined. If I were Haymon I'd offer a good free fight on NBC everytime Canelo fights and drown GB's revenue once and for all.

That's bs tons of fighters get bashed for not fighting guys in their prime or ducking fights. Why you think Khan is bashed and has been bashed for years despite no association to mayweather. Mayweather gets more then normal because he calls himself TBE and how he disrespects other greats in boxing history. He brings the negativity and criticism on himself.

Oscar will never reach Floyd's level as a boxer or in terms of net worth. Why even entertain these comments?

Oscars larger point is that when Floyd does leave nobody will miss him. He has become the Barry Bonds of boxing. Just a negative dark cloud over the sport. When bonds finally left baseball nobody missed him the game moved on in a better direction matter fact. The same will happen with Floyd. Hell we already saw with his first "Retirement". Boxing didn't miss a beat.
