And before Oscar Floyd never came close to sniffing a mil ..Floyd needed Oscar and his fighter to break that record and we all know it wasn't Floyd's drawing power that eclipse those numbers ..Canelo and Manny had as much to do with those numbers ..Manny was also made into a household name by Oscar ..As you can see he basically made it possible for,those two to become the stars they eventually became ..But you can try to spin it all you want But facts are facts with out the Oscar fights both he and Manny Would not be where they are today ..Its called passing the torch something Floyd never did because he hand picked his opponents!

The fact is Floyd and a shot Cotto sold more than a Prime Oscar vs a Prime Tito. Now you can try and spin that.

Did Oscar, Canelo or Cotto beat Floyd?

Oscar and Cotto were past their prime when Floydie finally fought them, and Canelo wasn't ready yet and Floydie knew that or he wouldn't have fought him. Pretty simple if you look at it objectively.

Oscar is probably the biggest Floyd hater out there. Its not for show either, he really dislikes the guy. If you guys watch the Mayweather Mosley fight and look into the crowd when Mosley lands the second right hand. You can see De La Hoya in the crowd having a damn near ****** he was so happy. But I understand Oscar's personal hate for Floyd for these reasons: 1) Floyd has an official win OVER Oscar in what was considered a close fight. I however thought Floyd won comfortably.
2) Floyd has surpassed Oscar in terms of revenue generated. 3) Floyd has had longer longevity in the sport than Oscar 4) Floyd has beaten guys who have beaten Oscar 5) Floyd has the better professional record 6) Floyd has beaten Oscar's protege's in Canelo and Ortiz 7) Floyd has personally insulted Oscar and is pretty much an arrogant jerk outside of the ring. Oscar is acting like a salty little girl but he has his reasons...

Oscar always been jealous of Mayweather, I don't think Oscar expected it would be another star that would be bigger than him and he watched it happen. Yep. Anyone would be a fool to think Floydie was at top star level before the Oscar fight. That's the fight that elevated the PED King to the superstar platform. Just like how Pac got there via Oscar... except Pac actually fought and didn't run all nite. And gee, too bad Floydie had to start going into overdrive with the juicing, running, and ducking from then til now. Would've been great to have the top guy taking on serious challenges... you know like Oscar did, as well as the rest of the top guys. Oscar is right. Floyd has brought a black cloud over boxing, from beating multiple woman and serving time in jail because of it, ducking fights, busted taking a masking agent to hide PEDs, boring fights, shady politics like having his own personal ref own judges forcing fighters not to switch their gloves announcing fights with only one month notice so he can extend his cycle of PEDs and give his opponent less time to prepare, the list goes on and on. He has done more harm to the sport of boxing then help. Boxing needs him to get the hell out so we can move on to real fighters.
