It is possible for Floyd to have not been able to give a sample at one time before the IV was administered, then been able to give a sample at another time before the IV was administered., thus allowing it to be tested before the IV was administered.

Both partial samples were then mixed together to meet the required amount needed for an accurate urine analysis. The diluted sample would have made up the bulk of the two, which in turn, would have successfully masked any prohibited substance from being detected.
