Lets not forget, it was only one fight.... Mayweather did not spend years refusing random blood tests. Its still not right, and I gotta wonder about USADA, but highly unlikely to be steroid abuse.

Seriously, you cant take steroids 5 mins before a fight and reap any benefit. It takes a course of cycles, over an extended period of time, which more than covers the testing period.

Why was it necessary to take an IV injection just after the weigh in ?......it's banned by the NSAC and that's that......if floyd took the injection and it's not allowed he should be held responsible and punished....USADA then only informed them 18 days after the fight had finished.....this stinks big time

And since your acting like you know something about how this works you should know alot of guys roid more in the off-season, Floyd works out all year and tests for around 3 months out of the 12(Loves pushing a fight announcement to the last minute now that he's fighting twice a year).

But anyway, there are plenty of substances a guy can take just before a fight to improve their performance, physically and mentally. Floyd really could have drained himself(Although I doubt it required that much), calling some random collectors to come over to watch your IV and then take urine samples only, how do you know he didn't know what he had in his system couldn't be detected via urine? Hell, the IV is supposed to be in a professional setting i.e a hospital, but here is Floyd in his living room with an IV bag. How do we even know he didn't use it already before calling the collectors? He needed to do this through the correct channels, in the correct settings, not in his house, the NSAC had to be told and per WADA protocol the TUE had to be granted before the IV was administered.

And ***, with the sht USADA has been involved with from Morales' tests to Quillins, to breaking their own rule of TUE before administering and going behind the NSAC back with the IV scandal, I'm not sure I can comfortably just take their word that they properly tested Mayweather before and after the IV.

We'll see what comes of this and Floyd has always been su****ious going back to the TRT interview. The thing is though, Floyd did everything right on his end. What we're left with is USADA likely overstepping their authority. I don't see how they are going to discipline Floyd for USADA's failure.

His weigh-in weight is literally 2-3 pounds from his fight night weight.

c'mon son, what is it really for, i expect someone like Chavez jr to need a IV, but not someone who practically fights at his normal weight.

I agree, USADA inexplicably bent their rules for Mayweather.

Very strange.

The VADA problems seem to relate to two things..... incompetency, and the usual problems a company will have when first initiating complicated protocols.

USADA cannot use any of those excuses. They are extremely well-established and their protocols should be bullet-proof.
