      True.

But both requests were made before the fight, so..... ?

Paperwork holdup? not sure, and not sure it matters.

But, why USADA allowed the exemption..... how could USADA allow such an exemption beyond their jurisdiction...... and why they would bend the rules for Mayweather..... seem to be much more serious questions.

Just one point, not referring to you, just in general.....

There is a massive distinction between USADA relaxing their rules...... and USADA assisting Mayweather to dope..... in direct contradiction to their reason for existing.

The whole, Mayweather paid off USADA thing, cannot be taken seriously.

I think people here have trouble reading and maybe an overall understanding of how third party drug testing works.

So according to USADA, NSAC initially approved Mayweathers request for IV, if this is true then when the TUE was requested by Mayweather doesn't really matter as long as Mayweather made that request with in the contracted time. USADA as a third party, cannot change or usurp the rules of NSAC, which is why the use of lidocaine doesn't equate to a failed test. People here don't really understand this, NSAC rules as it pertains to boxing is the only governing rules, so as long as Mayweather followed all NSAC protocols, and did not test positive for substance on NSAC's band substance list (not USADA's or even WADA's) then Mayweather is in the clear. So if it is true that NSAC approved Mayweather request for an IV then yes Mayweather is in the clear. The fact that NSAC has not made and inquiries or statements should tell you that USADA's version of events is probably accurate.

The NSAC is in Floyd's pocket. He could ask for an exemption to do a line of coke between every round and he would get it.

Good post, but I am a little bit lost with this one tbh.....

At face value this issue seems trivial and largely inconsequential.....
..... but valid points have been made regarding USADA protocols.

My questions to fellow posters are.....

Is the bold in KnickTillDeaTh's post true ?

If the bold is true, is this whole situation just a silly drama ?
