Why was Mayweather able to stand right in front of Canelo and walk him down?

The fact that Canelo was a weight drained zombie that night helped a lot

This made him think way too much about what he wanted to do and act too little on what he could do.

Paulie discussed this tactic and used video to demonstrate how effective Floyd used it to keep Canelo off-balance through-out the whole fight.

It should also be noted here, that there aren't too many fighters that could stand that close to Canelo during the fight and not get tagged.

The accuracy was sick during that fight ....

Nice post. 10 pages of **** talking when this guy nailed it on page two. People who pay attention, like Floyd, know Canelo is an animal when you let him get set. You keep him off balance and he is a deer in headlights.

It wasn't some wizardry , he's faster by a significant margin.
        Bro,

Im sorry but this is really reaching. FMJr. schooled him. Canelo won 1 round if that. One round, and that's being generous. He didnt do anything. His performance is overhyped due to that female judge who ***ed up the fight.

I watch all of Floyd's fights multiple times. The Mosley fight is by far one of his most quiet fights. Zero to no action. What Floyd did to Canelo was extremely exciting and unreal. To see a little granpa bully and counter a big guy like that, was amazing.

Two completely different fights. COMPLETELY different! So different, you should stop comparing them Lol

I just remember two guys trying to box eachother and Canelo getting badly outclassed in that department. Old shot to sht Mosley probabley pushed Canelo back more, and feather duster Trout.

Not really anything great in standing with Canelo since all he really did till after that fight was stand right with you.
Floyd didnt box a damned thang you lyin azz niga!!! Lol A 150lbs 37yr old, from the opening bell, walked down a 165lbs 22yr old, and didnt get grazed. Floyd pushed him all around the ring and didnt get grazed. It was unreal.

Canelo went backwards the entire fight. Most rounds he stood still, was when Floyd was pressing him in the corners or against the ropes, blinding him with Jabs and straight rights. After the fight, everyone lied about how Floyd was running. Yea SOMETIMES he runs, but SOMETIMES he cooks up something nasty, and for Canelo, it was a downright ATG performance!

Floyd didnt beat the shiet out of Shane, in that quiet azz fight Lol. No one made any noise. Floyd beat the snot out of Canelo, threw combinations, leaned on him, pressing him to the ropes.

Everyone seems content with lying about how Floyd was only to do it to Shane, but not able to do it with Canelo.

When against Canelo, he actually wasted little to no time walking him down! The Shane fight is like pitty pat compared to the Canelo fight! The Shane fight showed a glimmer of what Floyd was going to do to Canelo. The Canelo fight was something else!

I think you're getting the Canelo and Mosley fights confused

The fights are so blatantly different, that their is nothing to get confused. No one screamed for the Mosley fight. It was Floyd's most boring fights next to the Ghost and Marcos rematch.

The Canelo fight, was a walk down spectacle and Floyd captivated from start to finish. Those fights are on the opposite sides!

I think allot of people hate to admit that Floyd did Canelo, a young big guy, more dirty than he did an Old Mosley!
