Why was Mayweather able to stand right in front of Canelo and walk him down?

I dont understand why everyone is lying about Floyd doing Shane HALF as dirty as he did Canelo! Lol
Do you realize how BLATANTLY different those fights are? One fight is flatout boring, with both guys not throwing any punches, and Floyd throwing one or two shots at a time.
The Canelo fight was a one sided barn burning spectacle with people cheering, and Floyd wasting zero time from the opening round.
Yall must either be Canelo fans who dont want to admit that Floyd did him dirtier than he did an old man.
Or guys who hate to admit how Floyd did this young dangerous guy, because if you do admit it, you will be saying something about Floyd that you dont want to admit. That he is higher on the ATG then everyone lies about. I'd surely like to see SRL at the age of 37 walk down a guy bigger than him by 15lbs, without being grazed by a single shot!Comment

Dude, you're really, really confused. Canelo got outclassed, Shane got whooped.I dont understand why everyone is lying about Floyd doing Shane HALF as dirty as he did Canelo! Lol

Floyd walked the shiet out of Canelo like it was nothing Lol. Floyd does pick spots to let you come forward, and spots to press you! But he dont have to move his feet to avoid. He stood in front of him the entire fight and could just budge, roll, tilt, all these small movements, to avoid a shot by inches.
Even when he fought going backwards, he allowed Canelo to be right in front of him. He only moved allot in the last 2 rounds. I dont care if you saw it live, on tv or whatever! He walked df out of Canelo and pushed him back the whole fight!
Allot of people dont want to admit that Floyd was able to do that to someone so big and dangerous. If they admit it, then they are saying things about Floyd that they may not want to admit.
After the fight, Hopkins declared that Floyd was top 3ATG. He just had to be honest, and thats where I place Floyd. But as time went on, Hop allowed everyone to brainwash him with this notion that the throwback fighters are better! So he went back to lying about how Floyd is not half as good as them!
a lot of you clearly dont' watch boxing.Comment

I did not think May stood in front of Canelo..I thought he move much more then in his last three fights leading up to the Alvarez fight..He walked down Cotto and Guerrero no doubt..He moved a lot against Canelo bro,you should watch that fight again..Comment

i question whether a lot of you are fit to talk about what you look at when you wtach a boxing match. it takes years to understand what is going on, and it's basically impossible to understand the sport fully when you're heavily biased.
walked him down!? are you nuts?Comment

was gonna say
Mayweather walked down Judah, he definitely did not walk down Canelo.
Canelo lost because he decided to abandon all of his advantages (size, strength, power) in favour of trying to outbox the greatest boxer of this generation. He might have lost either way, but choosing those tactics was suicide vs a fighter like FMjrComment

i agree with this. it wouldn't have been typical of his style, but he could have treid to be more aggressive. i always expected him to try and box / punch with mayweather, and lose the decision. made a small bet on floyd on points at the MGM. it was me and a bunch of black guys getting our "mayweather money" at the sportsbook on sunday
. i made friends. some of those guys dropped 2-3 grand, and they clearly were working class dudes. dedication. easy money, actually. smart move.
i do think canelo being "mexican" works against him somewhat in the respect that it brings people to think that he's more aggressive than he is. he's a boxer by nature, and a good one. he just ran into one of the best boxers of all time on a night when he looked young and sharp.Comment
