Canelo was out witted. Young gun had an experience disadvantage against the craftiest guy in the game.
When Canelo's fight plan got derailed he lost focus / didn't know what to do, so he became reactive instead of proactive. When he tried to be proactive it was awkward and extremely telegraphed. Mayweather pretty much dictated the fight from that point. When all of Canelo's offense became predictable Mayweather led him around the ring like a dog on a leash. The pressure of trying to figure out Mayweather and come up with a new plan at the same time made Canelo second guess every move he made. Analysis paralysis they call it. To the point where Mayweather could do whatever he wanted.Comment

2) canelos fight strategy, or lack of. He tried to out counter an out technique the best counter puncher and technician of our generation. He should taken leather to gain position, Ala 'el chino' but was unwilling to do so.Comment
